DESCRIPTION:Bath has a compact centre with several places of photographic interest within easy reach.    Some of the attractions include Bath Abbey\, the Pump rooms and the Roman Baths\, Bath Street columns and cobbles\, Pulteney bridge\, and Pulteney Weir (if you fancy trying long exposures). SUMMARY:Silbury Hill and West Kennet Long Barrow
DESCRIPTION:West Kennet Long Barrow is a Neolithic chambered tomb which lies on a chalk ridge to the south of Silbury Hill.    \nSilbury Hill is the largest artificial mound in Europe and dates to the Bronze Age\, it apparently contains no burial and its purpose remains unknown.  Walking is not permitted on the hill itself\, but you can find some good locations for photographs on the adjacent paths. \nWest Kennet long barrow lies to the south of the main road and is a half-mile walk uphill along a footpath\, which is signposted from the lay-by. \nPlease note: English Heritage does not permit drone flying from or over sites in its care\, which applies to both of these sites. \n     Meet:  6.30pm at the lay-by\, 8-8.30 at the Red Lion  \nHow to get there \nFree parking for around 15 cars is available in the lay-by on the A4 near Silbury Hill.   If you’re feeling energetic it is possible to walk to these sites from Avebury \nIf you are coming as a guest\, please make sure you introduce yourself. \nPub – The Red Lion\, Avebury

DESCRIPTION:Peatmoor Lagoon is a small fishing lake bordered by trees\, which lies to the west of Mead Way.  Shaw Forest Park is 40-hectares of community woodland which lies to the east of Mead Way.  Shaw Park was landfill but now boasts of a range of habitats (hedgerows\, wildflower meadows\, woodlands\, wetlands) and a variety of wildlife (birds of prey\, wildfowl\, amphibians\, roe deer\, foxes and bats). \nMeet:  6.30pm at Peatmoor Lagoon.  Pub 8-8.30pm \nHow to get there \nThere are footpaths and cycle paths to the part from Sparcells\, Hillmead\, Ramleaze and Eastlease.  The closest bus stop is opposite Scurry’s Vauxhall Garage\, which is by the entrance ramp to the park and is visited by the number 22 and 18 buses.  There is car parking off Shearwood Road in Peatmoor. \nIf you are coming as a guest\, please make sure you introduce yourself. \nPub – Woodlands Edge\, Midwinter Close\, Swindon\, SN5 5EZ

SUMMARY:South Cerney: Railway Bridge Arches & light painting
DESCRIPTION:A series of arches on the former Midland & South Western Railway at South Cerney near to the Bow Wow.   Bow Wow is a pretty but narrow lane leading out of South Cerney\, which has the River Churn running along one side and a mill stream on the other.  Walk about 700 m along the lane\, passing the manor house\, the lane rises over the disused railway line.  There are steps down to a footpath and the railway bridges below. \nMeet:  6.30pm at the pub. \nHow to get there \nSouth Cerney is about 12 miles north of Swindon.  Take the A419 to the B4696 towards Ashton Keynes\, then take the first right turn towards South Cerney following the road until you reach the market cross.  Turn right onto Clarks Hay.  Park at the Old George Inn.   \nDon’t drive up Bow Wow\, it is narrow and there is no parking and limited turning places.  Park at the Old George Inn \nIf you are coming as a guest\, please make sure you introduce yourself. \nPub – Old George Inn\, South Cerney; \nhttp://www.oldgeorgeinn.co.uk/index.php/dining/
