The images and prints displayed at last night’s meeting were very inspiring. Ralph Snook LRPS, who judged the competition, gave sensible comments -not judgemental, as is often the case! I hope everyone else present enjoyed the evening as much as I did!

A big thank you to the many people who attended our Tuesday night portrait lighting workshop session. We had a great number of people attend and the feedback was excellent. The Mayor, Cllr Ray Ballman, officially opened the Swindon Photographic Society Annual print exhibition at the West Swindon Library.
This year’s Wootton Bassett Arts Festival is a competitive festival looking for entries covering Art, Photography, Creative Writing, Speech and Drama, Classical Guitar and Film. The festival takes place on 12th & 13th November this year and will be held at Wootton Bassett Secondary School. As well as photography there will be classes in painting/drawing, 3-D artwork and NEW for this year is FILM.
