On Tuesday, 7 February, 2012, ten members enjoyed an evening of “banter” and observing how others “do” things on the computer and camera. Gerry demonstrated his HDR skills using “Photomatix” (www.hdrsoft.com) in one corner, while Alex ran through “Picture2exe (www.wnsoft.com) in the centre of the room, using the projector to display the results on the large screen. The images and prints displayed at last night’s meeting were very inspiring. Ralph Snook LRPS, who judged the competition, gave sensible comments -not judgemental, as is often the case! I hope everyone else present enjoyed the evening as much as I did!
